Metamorphosis;
                                                                 a profound change in form from one stage to the next.

The ABC Center for Performing Arts proudly presents the tri-town area's first and only youth contemporary company, Metamorphosis.  The company was created and directed by Amy Burns-Cuozzo as an artistic outlet for young dancers in which they could explore innovative choreography and concepts of contemporary dance.  The community tribute "Rising Above" was the inspiration for the company.  Metamorphosis inspires dancers to reach beyond the stage and touch the audience while growing and changing together on a personal level.  Dance is about so much more than jumps and turns.  The aim of Metamorphosis is to show our area the higher purpose dance can serve.
